Did you know over 25,000 people sleep rough in Sydney each night? While some find a couch, many are left in the cold, unsure where they’ll sleep next. On a recent walk downtown, I saw people sleeping on cold pavement outside luxury stores, where handbags cost more than many earn in a month. It’s a stark reminder of the growing divide.

But there’s something simple we can do to help: provide a hot meal. For nearly 50 years, we have served free meals across Sydney. In 2025, our work continues - with the Food Van in Newtown, outreach in King’s Cross, and other major partnerships.
